This cake is a classic victoria sponge cake recipe topped with vanilla frosting icing and large sprinkle shards. - Harry Potter Style - (the icing will be different colours - at random or your Choice)

 

Old Skool Sprinkle Cake

Ingredients: (for allergens see ingredients in Bold.) Not suitable for Nut allergy sufferers.

Sponge:

Sugar, Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Niacin, Iron, Thiamin), Rapeseed Oil, Egg,

Raising Agents: Diphosphates, Sodium Bicarbonate; Modified Starch, Whey Powder

(Milk), Wheat Protein, Emulsifiers: Sodium Stearoyl-2-lactylate, Mono- and Diglycerides of Fatty

Acids, Polyglycerol Esters of Fatty Acids; Rice Starch, Potato Starch, Stabilisers: Carboxymethyl

Cellulose, Guar Gum; Salt, Flavouring,

White Vanilla Frosting:

Sugar; Glucose syrup (Preservative: SULPHUR DIOXIDE); Palm fat; Water; Rapeseed oil; Skimmed

Milk Powder; Emulsifier: Mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; Colour: Titanium dioxide; Natural

flavouring; Acid: Acetic acid.

Coloured Sugar Sprinkles:

Sugar, Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Oil, Palm Kernel & Palm Oil, Corn Starch, Sunflower Lecithin,

Colours E102, E133, E129, Beet Juice, Vegetable Juice, Annatto Extract, Maltodextrin, Glazing

Agent: E903, Vanillin, Cellulose Gum

 

Shelf Life & Storage Instructions Shelf Life: Ambient (room temperature): 3–5 days Refrigerated: Up to 7 days Frozen: Up to 3 months (wrap well before freezing) Storage Tips: Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before serving for best taste. If frozen, defrost fully before consuming.
