A show-stopping hybrid treat that’s as nostalgic as it is indulgent. Our Battenberg Cookie Dough Pie brings together the iconic pink-and-yellow sponge squares of classic Battenberg cake, enveloped in a layer of almond marzipan and buttery vanilla cookie dough. Crowned with a generous drizzle of pink and yellow icing, it’s the ultimate fusion of British tradition and playful decadence.
Ingredients:
•Classic Battenberg sponge (pink and yellow)
•Vanilla cookie dough
•Almond marzipan
•White chocolate
•Pink and yellow icing
•Sugar, flour, eggs, butter, almond extract, vanilla
Serving suggestion: Enjoy chilled or at room temperature. Perfect with a cup of tea or as a bold centrepiece for any dessert table.

When they arrive - best stored in the fridge to extend their life but best enjoyed at room temperature or pop in the microwave for 20 or so seconds to loosen. When stored correctly they will last up to 5-7 days from dispatch.
Room Temperature (18–21°C / 64–70°F):
1–2 days (only if kept in a cool, dry place and the filling is firm). Not recommended if it contains cream cheese, fresh cream, or perishable fillings.
•Refrigerated (4°C / 39°F):
Up to 5 days – This is the safest and most recommended storage method. Wrap the pie tightly or store in an airtight container to maintain freshness and prevent drying.
•Frozen (-18°C / 0°F):
Up to 1 month – Freeze in individual slices or whole. Wrap well in clingfilm and foil or use a freezer-safe container. Thaw in the fridge overnight before serving.

Storage Tip: Due to the combination of marzipan, sponge, and cookie dough, refrigerating helps maintain structure and flavour without compromising texture too much.
